Department Description: Data Services Team

This team is responsible for developing and delivering systems that aggregate enterprise level intelligence.

Responsibilities/Expectations: This position is part of a team that will apply a master data management framework to implement an Enterprise Customer Master (ECM) at Motorola. ECM capabilities are delivered under the System of reference, Operational and Information management strategies. The ECM program is part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiative.
He/She will analyze the client’s business requirements and processes, conduct interviews and facilitate working sessions to clarify, get consensus agreement, define and properly document the customer data integration needs (functional and technical). He/She will define and document the business process change management requirements to meet the technical solution.
He/She will create a solution design that complies with the program’s guiding principles; meets the client’s business expectations; follows industry best practices and CDI architectural guidelines.
He/She will prepare and demonstrate “demos” or “scenarios” of functional capabilities to both technical and functional stakeholders and users of the system.
He/She will document and facilitate user acceptance test plan and training.^^

Knowledge Skills: This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years experience working in a large multi-divisional, global company. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced (all or many) CDI solution, EAI technology, EII technology, ETL technology and Data Warehousing, Statistical Modeling, Data Mining, Data Profiling and Data Quality solutions.

He/She demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to influence process modeling; is a good facilitator and possesses exceptional analytical skills.

Other job requirements include:
Experience with Oracle 11i and understanding of the TCA. Experience in (one minimum) the following area of expertise: Master Data Management (MDM), Sales Force automation (SFA), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH), Customer Data Integration (CDI). Familiarity with business processes including: Sales Opportunity, Account Receivables, Business Operations, Information Management ) BSCS, BSCE, BSSoftE and/or equivalent education is required.
