Relocation will not be offered for this position. Prior DSM or electric and/or gas utility marketing experience preferred.Position Summary:Serve as managed accounts assistant in fielding technical and procedural questions on demand-side management (DSM) product lines and any energy-related issues. Serve as in-house technical support and is required to handle all types of incoming calls to assist sales reps in meeting customer needs. Provide analytic, computer-based support to sales reps. Prepares rate analyses, contracts, proposals and presentations. Conduct customer research and assists in maintaining all DSM related sales information/materials. Responsible for coordination of DSM messaging to customers (mailings, emails, and customer forums). Assist and train Account Managers on DSM program issues.Essential Responsibilities:
a) Capable of fielding technical questions from large commercial and industrial customers on DSM product lines, including lighting, cooling, motors, Energy Design Assistance, Recommissioning, custom, energy management and other DSM related programs or products. Must be knowledgeable on product and technical issues regarding any energy-related matters. Also supports coordination with other internal/external service providers to meet customer needs (e.g. Delivery, Regulatory, Legal, Community and others). Assist sales reps and managers in analyzing and resolving customer billing problems. 40%b) Supports achievement of DSM product sales and customer satisfaction goals by extracting, analyzing and organizing data in accurate, concise and professional formats. Prepares rate analyses, contracts, spreadsheets, proposals and presentations with direction from sales reps and manager. 25%c) Monitors and provides weekly, monthly, and annual analyses of DSM performance. Monitors and analyzes customer savings from product purchase or program participation. Facilitates resolution of discrepancies in savings projections. Assists sales reps and managers in analyzing and resolving customer billing problems that relate to DSM projects. Should be familiar with CRS billing system. 20% d) Creates and maintains customer and account management databases. REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required. Three or more years experience in marketing, sales or customer service, or combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Expert skills with spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Access. Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Self-starter. Ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
