DIRECTOR OF CONTENT STRATEGY

Our Chicago headquarters has an opportunity available for a SAP Director of Content Strategy. In this role you will be responsible for a comprehensive content development strategy, working with multiple SmithBucklin service units to deliver SAP appropriate and topical content for educational programs and events, as well as content editing/cleansing and staff training. The Director of Content Strategy will identify learning requirements and define curriculums to meet those needs. Success measured in ability to identify and deliver relevant content throughout the organization for multiple initiatives; ability to work with multiple SAP contacts and support the SAP alliance, and develop and refine appropriate delivery channels of content.


Essential responsibilities:Responsible for overall management of SAP content strategy and development.
Act as primary liaison to Executive Director and SmithBucklin Service unit leadsDevelop content strategies and education business plans and proposals, that anticipate and/or meet member needs.
Build contacts within the SAP universe to leverage for content development.
Act as primary liaison to SAP points-of-contact within various areas of the organization.
Manage customer service delivery to client by Association staff.
Keep abreast of cues to client satisfaction from personal contact. Answer inquiries and complaints judiciously both verbally and in written format.Directly coordinate Service Unit support of client.
Set priorities for utilizing resources and planning short-term task objectives that enhance client plan.
Working with SmithBucklin Service Unit leads, coordinate staff representing other Service Units within the client team.
Ensure work is within a pre-scheduled budget and is completed expeditiously with accuracy and exceptional quality.
Make a positive contribution to SmithBucklin’s business.
Support SmithBucklin initiatives and promote the development of peer relationships and personal/professional growth opportunities.
Create a good team spirit both with in the staff team and with the client and provide leadership by encouraging cooperation between team members.
Analyze, interpret and develop content for organization’s benchmarking initiatives, including white papers, abstracts, and presentations
REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree required
Minimum 3-5 years in SAP-related focus and 5+ years management experience in consulting, education or publishing areas. Deep expertise and understanding of SAP products/services and company strategy Demonstrated organizational and leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to form and leverage contacts within multiple environments
