The successful candidate will provide business leadership and contractual guidance to the entire LCS program. Actively interface with the internal LCS team, established U.S. Navy customers and other potential customers. In support of sales activities this individual will provide key support in the proposal process, present proposal packages to the Senior Leadership Team, negotiate financial/contractual terms and conditions for standard and nonstandard contracts, and ensure timely execution of contract documents consistent with agreements reached at internal reviews and negotiations. A well rounded Contracts Administration background is required with demonstrated experience in DOD Government and commercial contracts, Intellectual Properties, and Agreements.General Position Description:Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates and renegotiates standard and nonstandard contracts. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
