Contract Management Manager
Job Description
The Legal and Commercial business practice provides and manages all legal advice and support to Accenture. Legal and Commercial aims to give objective, focused, practical advice and solutions based on an understanding of the law and Accenture’s business, which is essential in a competitive marketplace. The Legal and Commercial teams work closely with each engagement to find ways to maximize revenue and manage risk and to ensure that Accenture complies with its contractual obligations.
The Operations and Contract Management teams work closely with Accenture’s operating and capability groups to obtain good commercial arrangements, review and counsel new offerings, support Accenture’s alliances and Business Process Outsourcing businesses, develop package knowledge and ensure contract agreements are upheld.
Job Summary:
•Manages the overall Procurement and Property Management processes and major acquisitions for assigned projects.
•Develops Procurement processes and policies for use by the Federal Client Group
•Responsible for the management and control of Government Furnished Property (GFP) from acquisition or receipt of delegation through contract closeout
•Requires knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45 and its applicable supplements, the DoD Manual for the Performance of Contract Property Administration, DoD 4161.2-M , and Defense Contract Management Agency policy and procedures to control of Government Property in possession of contractors and subcontractor
•Supports development of property processes and policies for use by the Federal Client Group
A Procurement Manager may be assigned to more than one engagement or, alternatively, be full-time on a single engagement (depending on the volume/complexity of the acquisitions).

REQUIREMENTS
8+ years applicable work experience within the contract management field
Education:
University/College Degree (Bachelors or equivalent) in a relevant field is preferred
Advanced degree desirable
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) status and National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership are advantageous
Work Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of applicable industry experience
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
•8+ years of comprehensive knowledge of Federal Government Procurement processes and regulations, corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principles
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
•Able to resolve contracts and pricing issues
•Able to advise and interact with all levels of management
•Able to demonstrate excellent analytical and mathematical skills
•Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
•Demonstrated proficiency in using spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
