Join us at General Revenue, a subsidiary of the Sallie Mae Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. General Revenue is the largest college and university-focused collection agency in the country and one of the most respected in the entire industry. We are seeking a Contract Coordinator. The primary responsibility for this position is to manage the contract implementation process and interface with all business units (Sales, Client Service, Operations, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, FP&A and Information Systems) in the contract implementation process. Under general supervision, the Contract Coordinator is responsible for project planning, structure and communication throughout the entire implementation process. Specific responsibilities include: -Project management for new client/contract implementations. This will be accomplished by creating custom implementation plans to best suit requirements for each new client while defining priorities, resources and timeline necessary for successful implementation. -Completes contract deliverables due during implementation phase while monitoring progress and confirming stake holders’ expectations will be met. -Documents issues and actions. -Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. -At the conclusion of the implementation, coordinate introductory call between client and Client Service Department in order to facilitate a seamless transition. -Acts as the primary point of contact with the client throughout the mplementation phase of the contract. -Fosters, maintains and grows strategic relationships with the client to develop a trusted technical partnership environment that optimizes client satisfaction. -Individual is responsible for serving as the voice of the customer in planning and implementing new customer and current customer initiatives and in the ongoing improvement of current customer programs and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration or related field -3-5 years Project management experience (i.e., putting projects together, managing resources, managing and delivering solutions on time) -3-5 years experience working in business, IT and/or account management -3-5 years experience working in a client/contractor environment -FACS (Flexible Automated Collection System) software experience -Working knowledge of IT, Accounting and Customer Service-related fields -Proven ability to lead a team -Risk Management experience -Strong communication skills – both oral and written -Knowledgeable in operational/process work flow and developing solutions -Demonstrates ability to evaluate, implement and follow-up with delegated assignments/projects -High degree of flexibility; ability to handle multiple tasks while dealing with constant interruptions -Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail -High level of initiative, ability to work without close supervision and maintain high productivity with the ability to change assignments as needed -Highly resourceful; ability to reference available resources in order to respond promptly and accurately to questions and inquiries -Ability to interact with all levels of company personnel within multiple departments in a cooperative and professional manner -Regular attendance is a requirement for the position -Proficient in use of a personal computer Apply online at
