Contract Area Sales Manager - St. Louis

Business Unit: GE Industrial, Consumer & IndustrialFunction: SalesResponsibilities: * Responsible for selling and promoting appliances to new and existing customers who are builders or authorized distributors.
Identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to grow the territory.
Develop and conduct sales training.
Resolve customer issues and build strong customer relationships.~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * College degree required or equivalent sales experience.
Experience in developing, organizing and implementing sales plans.
Prior Appliance selling experience to the building and construction industry preferred.
Ability to interface with all levels of management.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong negotiating skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.Desired: * Good interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work in teams.
Prior Appliance Sales experience.
