No.: SMS-C06-044Wing Contract Administration and Project Management DutiesManage the Wing’s contract closeout process to account for final contract deliveries, final DD 250z status, and establish closeout milestone schedule. Responsible for preparing closed contracts for retirement.Responsible for scheduling and facilitating the Contract Self-Inspection Program (SIP). The SIP assesses at a minimum 50% of the contract files/modifications issued since the last inspection. The reviews are done by the PCOs but you ensure that these reviews are documented - by maintaining a self-inspection logbook that notates what files were reviewed; when the reviews were accomplished; the results of the reviews; and the corrective actions taken. The position shall Interface with PKX, as required, to answer quarterly suspense.Responsible for organizing a bi-weekly Wing contracting director’s Staff/Training Meetings. Schedule the meetings, coordinate training sessions, maintain attendance logs, draft and distribute minutes. Also responsible for organizing, scheduling and preparing for Wing contracting Quarterly Reviews and other Program Reviews as needed.Create and maintain a centralized Suspense Tracking log/system. Coordinate it with the Wing Contracting Chief of Contracts and brief it as part of the staff meeting.Responsibilities shall include being the Special Projects lead. Special Projects include maintaining and working assigned suspenses when applicable, maintaining organization charts, maintaining Workload Status, creating briefing charts, and performing other type duties as required.Maintain a Wing J&A tracking log.Maintain contracting document samples and lessons learned data bases.Maintain and Track suspense that are received via SOCCER and the PRIDE system.Qualifications:
Experience in successful contract(s) close-out;
Experience with the acquisition process;
Experience with SOCCER, CONDAPS, and MOCAS along with experience supporting a Group or Wing level contracting chief;
Ability to coordinate many procurement/contracting actions and requirements across all Wing Functional offices;
Experience with AF contracting administrative requirements;
