Client Relationship Supervisor

Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment management companies, needs client-focused professionals with outstanding motivational and decision-making skills to serve as Client Relationship Supervisors. In this highly responsible position, you'll be charged with creating and managing a customer service team that consistently exceeds performance goals when responding to shareholder inquiries.

The most qualified Client Relationship Supervisor candidates will have a financial services background and the proven ability to hire, train, motivate, and manage a team of customer service representatives. The successful candidate will play a number of key leadership roles within the department, and should be able to:

- Resolve complex shareholder and work flow issues diplomatically and efficiently.
- Participate in the preparation of the department's budget and business plan.
- Analyze and report on the department's progress and profitability.
- Recommend ways to capitalize on trends and create innovative programs to improve performance.
- Serve as point person on high-impact and pilot initiatives.
- Assume front-line departmental managerial duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Vanguard funds preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a group of individuals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under deadline pressure.
- NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses required within 60 days of hire.
