Job DescriptionPosition Summary: This position reports to the (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, or Tampa) Business Line Manager and has direct responsibility for a book of revenue in the SEM NPP and Retail Sectors with a primary focus on hospitals and educational institutions. This position is intended to be a combination of sales, marketing, business development, program development, and project management. The individual works closely with the National Practice and National Sector leads in developing accounts and projects to expand SEM and retail services including Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and EHS compliance.General responsibilities of this position include:Utilizes a combination of project management, technical expertise, business management, and business development skills to develop and execute business opportunities. There will be a targeted list of commercial clients with goals to generate additional revenue, cash management, and direct margin to achieve client satisfaction and repeat business.Functions as seller-doer or program manager directly affecting the revenue, profitability, cash flow, and repeat business of the company through the ability to develop client relationships and lead associate teams in successfully delivering a quality product or service to the client. Directly responsible for annual revenue of greater than $500,000 with allowances in the first year for ramping up new programs.Develop industry sector and serve as an industry sector leader, account manager, or national practice lead. Recognized outside the company as a key person in an industry sector.Represent Shaw at industry conferences and associations within the industry sector. Actively pursuing new business opportunities with hospitals and medical or related facilities.Develops EMS and compliance services and products that will assist clients in the development of regulatory compliance EHS management systems.Identify opportunities to outsource Shaw EHS staff to client facilities for long term assignmentsContinually respond to the market with innovative solutions to client's needs. Assist Shaw personnel in creating value added products and deliverables that can be replicated across client base.Participate on EHS Audit teams in support of the Compliance and Auditing National PracticeRegularly sells across geographic regions and business lines.Represents the company to client and maintains client relationship, often solving complex problems with innovative solutions. Oriented to winning long-term relationships by building trust and bringing value to customer´s bottom line. May contribute strategic guidance to planning level of client´s management.Contributes to company strategic planning at the core team level.Normally requires a BS degree in appropriate discipline and more than 10 years of applicable experience.This position will focus on the Health Care sector. This will include selling and executing environmental compliance, air permitting, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and waste management work for hospitals and universities. The person will develop the work and manage a team of professionals to execute the work ensuring meeting the client's expectations. See attached job description for more details.Requirements: Degree in engineering, physical and/or Health sciences, or business and directly related Health Care or University EHS management experience. Professional Registration (e.g., PMP, PE, PG) is preferred with experience and training in business development, large account management, project management, negotiation, contract management, presentations, and accounts receivable management. Successful CPMs must be as effective socially as they are technically and as adept in human relations as they are with task/project management.Work Environment: No physical requirements; work typically performed in an office environment, either in a headquarters or project office. Ability to respond quickly and accurately under stress of deadlines and business demands as required. Must manage and prioritize multiple tasks and interact effectively with clients and internal/external resources.
