********Claims Adjusters Needed*******

The CSI Companies is currently recruiting to fill 5 Claims Adjuster positions for the largest Wind & Flood Insurance Company in the United States.

The position is responsible for the inspection, investigation and adjustment of personal and commercial property claims in an assigned territory.


•Researches, analyzes and interprets policy language and state law as it applies to submitted claims.
•Demonstrates proficiency in conducting investigations, damage assessments and claim evaluations.
•Evaluates and applies policy coverages, escalating as necessary.
•Works with insured and external business partners regarding the handling and/or disposition of claims and other issues.
•Calculates and negotiates settlement payments accurately and within specified time frame.
•Recognizes the need for negotiation, and participates in planning strategy and negotiating within scope of authority.
•Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of both subrogation/salvage and SIU issues which may arise.
•Documents all information that is relevant to a claim and runs prepares reports as required.
•Updates the claims system to include documentation of all claim activities.
•Keeps current on industry activity and trends.
•Performs other essential duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
•Associate degree with industry certification and/or equivalent claims adjusting experience.
•Minimum of one year of Florida experience handling property claims.
•Active Florida Adjuster license
•Skilled in the use of Xactimate or MSB Integra estimating programs.
•Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
