We are currently seeking a person who will support the engineering department using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and processes for CATIA version; Document developed methodologies for CAD tools and processes; Document CAD usage policies as standards for use by all CAD users and CAD data consumers; Develop training materials to be used to train new users, including design methodologies, best practices, and training data for step by step training scenarios; Troubleshoot CAD tools and processes; Document and communicate methodologies for CAD software problems to users; Communicate software and process bugs to CAD Developers, using documentation tools; Attend first line of support group meetings for CAD users; Support CAD users with library maintenance and upkeep; Support CAD Data release processes.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of CAD systems and their applications; Considered to be a CATIA V5 expert by their peers; Advanced knowledge of hybrid part design in CATIA V5; Two to five years experience in user support, application troubleshooting, process and methodology development or truck and automotive design engineering using CATIA V5; TeamCenter Enterprise usage and experience with Engineering Data Managers; Pro/Engineering and Pro/PDM version 2001 design experience or other CAD experience; Experience with CAD data translation between CAD systems.
