Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Position is for a Senior-level client/project manager in environmental permitting and compliance. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:1) Direct support of the Regional Compliance Group Leader with regard to client and market development2) Project supervision of less senior project management and other technical staff. This may include oversight of a project team.3) Provide senior-level technical expertise in permitting and compliance.4) Develop and maintain client relations to further business growth and development with a particular emphasis in the power, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries5) Identify, interview, recruit, train, and supervise new staff and project managers needed to execute new business.6) Identify new business opportunities as well as new projects requiring equity position, small acquisitions, and new technologies or markets.7) Lead strategic initiatives to grow market presence, initiative may be pre-made or self-made8) Future stable project utilization goal in the 60-70% depending on volume9) Works with other senior-level management staff and Resource Manager to balance staffing demandsRequirements: Candidates must have, at a minimum, a bachelorīs degree in a scientific or engineering curriculum, with a minimum of 15 years experience. Experience in multi-media environmental permitting and compliance is required.Candidates for this position should be comfortable multi-tasking.Environment: Although the position is primarily based within an office setting, candidates must be able/willing to perform necessary work in an industrial setting, as needed.Travel for this position will mostly be limited to in-state, but may require overnight stays on an infrequent basis.Candidates are expected to be available when subordinate staff is in the process of finalizing documents for delivery to clients/regulatory agencies.
