Business Technology Analyst
As a Business Technology Analyst with U.S. Bank, you will:
Be focused on the support of Data Center Operations
Be involved with operational standardization; creation, review and validation of documentation; indirect involvement in disaster recovery exercises; project administration; validation of application recovery plans; and overall production readiness.
Be responsible for gathering, analyzing, presenting requirements for enterprise CMDB (configuration management database).
Be involved in determining strategic functional directions of a CMDB.
Job Requirements
While we expect that you’ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:
Thorough knowledge of ITIL framework needed
Expertise in architecture, design, components and structure of a CMDB
Expertise in tools, languages and databases to be used
Understanding of how all data, applications and hardware functions interact
Experience including multiple platform environments (mainframe, midrange, client server and desktop) and associated software products.
Proficiency with Project Scheduling and Tracking tools such as Ms-Project, Artemis, Timeline, Project Workbench etc.
Experience managing large complex projects within the financial industry involving Project Planning/Tracking, issue resolution, conflict management, resource management, status reporting and quality enforcement
Bachelor's degree or higher; or 5 more years experience.
Ability to develop, execute and deliver tasks within aggressive deadlines
Previous experience with architecting, planning, implementing a CMDB
Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a project team which possess a wide range of skills
Expertise in managing enterprise wide projects required.
Bachelor's degree or higher; or 5 more years experience.
Ability to develop, execute and deliver tasks within aggressive deadlines
Previous experience with architecting, planning, implementing a CMDB
Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; be self-motivated, proactive and detail oriented; commitment to problem solving and relationship building; ability to work as part of a project team which possess a wide range of skills; expertise in managing enterprise wide projects required; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; working knowledge of Mid Tier, Mainframe, and Raised Floor environments.
