Business Systems Analyst, Lead
Primary Responsibilities Include:

Defining, facilitating, implementing, maintaining and supporting Information-Systems solutions to meet business needs.

Conducting research and analysis of business requirements, problems and available technologies to define systems solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Using appropriate research tools to analyze business requirements and problems.

Defining scope.

Performing cost-benefit analysis.

Defining Business-Systems specifications.

Devising and/or modifying procedures based on computer-equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and format of desired results.

Understanding the business implications of technology solutions.

Interfacing with System Developers and Programmers in developing Information Systems.

Participating in Testing and Quality Assurance functions.

Researching, analyzing and providing recommendations regarding the use of new technologies.

Significantly influencing final decisions that have a substantial impact on departmental, business unit and/or company-wide Information-Systems.

Providing analysis, recommendations, consultation and expert advice.

Leading large, complex projects that have long-term, company-wide and/or business-unit impact.

Conceptualizing and developing innovative solutions to address complex business issues.

Identifying, evaluating and facilitating the implementation of Technical solutions.

Negotiating priorities.

Resolving escalated conflicts.

Reviewing and approving project documentation.

Mentoring and overseeing the work product of project team-members.

Completing assignments that require significant judgment and initiative in resolving problems, providing recommendations and making decisions.
A Successful Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Information Systems or related field (and/or equivalent experience).

8+ years of Business-Systems Analysis and/or related experience.

Technical-Leadership experience-including experience successfully leading complex Technical Projects.

Extensive knowledge of computer systems, computer technologies and their relationship to business functions, practices and processes.

Comprehensive knowledge of industry-specific operations, technical groups, systems and their respective interdependencies.

Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to solicit participation and input from others.

Facilitation and Meeting-Management skills.

Strong knowledge of Project-Management methodology and practices.
The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:

Post-graduate degree.
