Business Systems Analyst Ld

Basic Functions and Responsibilities: **EXEMPT**Work with internal and external business partners to identify, analyze, document, and implement requirements to develop new systems and modify existing systems to satisfy business needs and opportunities. Document business requirements and technical specifications, participate in the creation of cost estimates and schedules, create unit test cases. Work with system developers, test teams, process managers, and end users to ensure proposed solution is delivered according to schedule and with the required functionality.
Act as liaison between the business units and internal partners/external vendors for assigned projects by communicating accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and leading reviews of business requirements and solution definition. Conduct regularly scheduled reviews of newly proposed and existing projects to ensure quality and accuracy is delivered to the end-users.
Participate in testing release reviews and testing meetings for supported projects.
Manage submission of change requests and production releases. Prepare weekly/monthly status reports.
Mentor junior staff members in business and technical analysis techniques, process, and procedures and proactively identify improvement opportunities for processes, systems, and interfaces.Apply Info: Internal:Please e-mail cover letter and resume to [Click here for email]. REQUIREMENTS
Education: BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: Five or more years of business systems analysis experience is required. Experience with web-based application development is essential. Experience with web portal technology is preferred but, not required.Excellent oral and written communication skills are required in order to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal staff. Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to maintain an open and effective relationship with clients and colleagues.
