Business Services Specialist

Chandler/Gilbert Arc is a non-profit organization providing programs for adults with developmental disabilities for over 30 years in the East Valley.

We have an immediate opening for a Business Services Specialist.

Provide Accounts payable - ensure appropriate payment approval, enter transactions, process checks and maintain vendor files.
Process payroll for 150 employees and 80 consumers.
Be able to work comfortably in an environment where adults with developmental disabilities come to a day program.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
be able to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
Have analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Be detail oriented.
Be able to handle heavy data entry.

REQUIREMENTS
At least 18 yrs. old
HS Diploma or GED
Some college courses in business or public administration preferred
Must have at least 1 year (2 years preferred) of work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll
Intermediate computer knowledge using MS Windows, Word and Excel
ADP and Peachtree or Quickbooks knowledge a PLUS
Lift up to 25 lbs
Pass a criminal background check
