Business Intelligence Analyst

Purpose: TEKsystems is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to fill a contract-to-hire need with one of our clients in Boise, Idaho.

This person will be responsible for supporting best practices for the design and implementation as recommended by core Business Intelligence team. Identifying purchasing business objects, gathering requirements, and assisting BI engineers and DBAs with their implementation. Providing access to data by developing OLAP cubes, reports, or database views. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across business and manufacturing departments and IS groups to drive consistent BI business rules and terms, maintain metadata in reporting tools, and drive towards consistency in metadata dictionary across departments.

Applicants should have 5 plus years of overall data analysis experience and 3 plus years working within a Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence team. They should also possess excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, understanding of technical data warehousing and reporting, infrastructure. Good understanding of data access methods and data design
