Business Intelligence Analyst

Purpose: TEKsystems is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire position in Boise, Idaho. The business intelligence associate leads and manages the data collection and analysis effort among other team members and external consultants.

Required Skills:
- Experience with market research is beneficial. Business Intelligence experience is preferred.
- Skill and experience developing analysis models.
- Good writing skills and the ability to make effective oral presentations.
- Must be knowledgeable about the global business environment, and will be expected to orchestrate business intelligence activities on a global basis.
- Should have excellent analytical skills including both technology assessment and business analysis.
- Ability and experience integrating and leading internal and external multi-function business intelligence practitioners.

Required Experience:
- CMOS imaging product knowledge, preferably from a marketing or sales background.
- At least 2-3 years marketing / sales background preferably
- Experience translating data to relevant information with useful assessments.

Responsibilities:
- Work individually and within teams to manage projects, prepare profiles and compile assessments.
- Periodically identify internal management intelligence needs through interaction with senior management and personal observation of emerging trends and issues.
- Define, coordinate and manage analysis research projects performed by outside consultants. Review their work and integrate it into appropriate reports and presentations.
- Develop and deliver presentations on project work to appropriate team members.
- Design and develop needed databases and models.
- Design and develop presentation material and information interfaces.
- Use financial and business analysis techniques and measurement tools.
- Develop expertise in basic business intelligence methodologies and practices, including analytical frameworks, secondary sources and information gathering techniques, and primary source interviewing skills.
