Business Analyst / Requirements Manager - SEI's CMM

In this newly created position, you will be accountable for the requirements life cycle of gathering, documenting, and validating.

Expert in software requirements definition and creation of sustainable requirements processes.
Provides leadership to Business Leaders and Project Teams in change management and process engineering.
Has moderate to heavy contact with Business and Technical SMEs. Supervises and reviews work of internal and external assigned personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
oCreation and maintenance of standardized requirements processes and practices for complete life cycle of requirements
oLeads team of Business/Requirements Analysts (internal and external)
oOversees the gathering, analysis and documentation of business and system requirements
oAccountable for resource capacity planning and scheduling of assigned resources
oInsures the defined requirements achieve the deliverables in the Project Charter
oParticipate in project cost estimation activities
oParticipate in identifying project issues and risks during the requirements gathering process
oIdentify change management activities in the Planning Phase of the project.
REQUIREMENTS
oBachelor's degree in MIS, Business, or equivalent.
oMinimum 4 years of experience in the Information Technology field.
oExperience in leading requirements gathering workshops (mandatory)
o3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
oMinimum 2 years of experience in SDLC
oStrong analytical and organizational skills
oExceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex technical documents and deliver briefings
oAbility to facilitate meetings with Business and Technical SME’s
oSelf starter and capable of working independently
oExperience in use case development
PREFERRED SKILLS
oProject Management experience
oExperience with Process Improvement initiatives
oFamiliarity with the SEI's Capability Maturity Model (CMM or CMMi) and SQA audits.
