Business Analyst, Nucleus Planning Transformation

Assists Project Manager on high-priority projects. Interfaces with programmers/analysts to explain business solutions important to the user. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Complete complex system configuration changes for current business applications. Interface with Training Teams in developing the best learning environment for the end user. Typically requires four to five years of solid business knowledge, systems analysis, and project experience.Participate in functional design reviews to ensure that overall systems design fully documents business requirements
Evaluate and address opportunities to improve end user's application/system knowledge
Develop detailed system blueprint and design
Design and document the configuration of the system
Develop functional specifications for custom development or enhancements
Collaborate with development resources to design detailed programming specifications for custom development or enhancements
Collaborate with the master data team to develop data conversion strategy
Ensure the design, development, and execution of functional, integration, regression, end user acceptance test plans.
Compliance with established change control processesFour-year college degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills.
Understanding of process and project management.
Experience with supply chain planning systems such as SAP APO, Logility, Manugistics, I2.
Supply chain planning experience in any of the areas of supply network planning, deployment, detailed scheduling.
Ability to travel 50%.
APICS certification a plus.
SAP R/3 MM, PP, PP-PI knowledge a plus.
