Business Analyst II

As a member of our exclusive team, you'll enjoy exceptional rewards and growth opportunities.We need a talented individual to fill the role of Business Analyst II.This candidate will work with business unit to gather, document and test user requirements and specifications for existing and new applications. Coordinate and report IT projects/tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Research, define and analyze business problems

Research network, database and programming solutions to meet business needs

Perform requirements gathering and documentation with users on system enhancements, including third party requirements

Devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex business problems

Identify project opportunities and work on selected IT endeavors

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of company and industry technologies

Work within and adheres to guidelines, technological strategic goals and strategic framework, and other IT policies and procedures

Act as a coordinator on software and operating systems upgrades for IT in several business areas

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of NCEN infrastructure tools and development environment

Provide updates and status on current task and project

Perform basic level quality assurance

Adhere to Systems Development Life Cycle

Conduct iterative development including UML and Object Oriented Analysis

Develop process and support documentation for use by other groups within IT

Participate in preparing Requests for Proposal

Participate in preparing a Cost Benefit Analysis, advanced financial feasibility studies, software analysis and review, needs analysis and other forms of system analysis

Identify potential new business initiatives

Assist with User Acceptance Testing

Assist in mentoring other BAsBachelors Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline is required. Equivalent relevant industry experience is considerable. Minimum three year of IT or business experience in a related role is preferred.
