Business Analyst I

In this role you will be a critical player on high-impact projects that will directly impact the bottom line. You will use your analytical and reporting skills to support management in developing and implementing systems, reengineering business practices, and creating new initiatives.This is not a "generate monthly reports" job...you will apply analytic methods to business performance issues in order to identify the causes of poor performance.
Management will rely on you to compile data from a variety of systems, analyze the data, and report and present your findings. You will be counted on to produce quick turn around ad hoc requests as well as in-depth research projects.
You will need the skill set to be able to create and use Excel and Access tools to facilitate data analysis and tracking.
You will be automating and streamlining manual and inefficient business processes. You will need to maintain project plans and facilitate meetings to ensure your reengineering projects are implemented on time.Experience with airline revenue acccounting or travel agency back office processes would be very helpful in this position.Job RequirementsTwo years of data driven business analysis and report development. Two years of expert-level Microsoft Excel. Two years of expert-level Microsoft Access. 4 Year college degree.
