General Purpose: Responsible for managing the analysis, definition and development of new Hoover’s products, processes and features. Responsibilities: Works cross-functionally to gather project requirements, both customer facing and internal. Identifies and reviews new technologies that hold the potential to improve the Hoover’s product. Writes and maintains detailed requirements including: concept summaries and assessment matrices, use cases, user requirements, functional requirements, business cases, process maps and post launch reports. Employs project management tools and processes on all projects that require formal project management. Works cross functionally to insure optimal speed and quality throughout the product development process. Effectively leads project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
REQUIREMENTS
Skill-Based Competencies: 5+ years experience in a business analyst, technical writing or product development role. Consulting experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or related field. Demonstrated success at producing technical documentation suitable for use by design and development teams. Portfolio of sample documentation required. Demonstrated success at effectively facilitating communication between development and business stakeholders. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, learn new areas quickly, take ownership of issues/projects, develop recommendations, align with team and execute on proposal. Support end users of new process and technology systems including training support for new systems and functionality. Results oriented, great attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines. Strong project management skills Strong analytical ability Ability to write clear technical documentation Strong presentation skills; ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills Ability to participate in or lead cross functional teams Experience with customer-centered product development methods and the incorporation of usability testing feedback into requirements documentation. Expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project TECHNICAL SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to document process and software systems Knowledge software, internet, and process design Ability to create process flow diagrams Working knowledge of CRM platforms like Salesforce.com strongly desired
