Solving IT is seeking an immediate resource as a Business Analyst for a permanent position with one of our local Richmond, Virginia clients who will serve as a key facilitator by acting as a bridge between the business and technical teams. This candidate will play and integral part of the identification and definition of business opportunities and drive for solutions to business problems. Solutions will include systems development component, process improvement, or organizational change.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the development of business cases and identifying the project goals as well spearheading the requirements development and requirements management process.
* Elicit, analyze and document business requirements, and ensure that they tie directly back to business objectives.
* Analyze and document new & existing business processes
* Develop and manage detailed business requirements
* Facilitate cross-functional meetings to capture requirements.
* Manage the development and implementation of several business/product initiatives concurrently to support the business objectives.
* Develop use cases and process modeling to illustrate end state solution.
* Thorough analysis of existing and new business processes
* In-depth competitive analysis to understand best in class and competitive benchmarking via white papers and SWOT analysis.
* Establish and identify business success criteria.
* Manage user acceptance testing and training documents to support the completed project.
* Deliver high quality business/product initiatives that increase revenue, profit, and/or customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
* Proven track record for implementing complex and highly interdependent projects and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Possess a solid track record in managing and influencing cross-functional teams.
* Solid track record in managing and influencing cross-functional teams
* Demonstrated project management experience with knowledge of the software development life cycle
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently at different stages of the life cycle
* Experience implementing large projects
* Strong process and data analysis experience
* Strong problem solving skills with an ability to solve complex problems.
* Technical analytical and programming skills a plus
