Business Analyst

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a Business Analyst for our DNS division in the South Atlantic Region.



The responsibilities of this role include:

The Business Analyst conducts needs assessments for enhancements and product efficiency issues. Works with business staff and managers to identify best practices. Involvement with profitability, customer service/satisfaction, maximization of asset utilization and achieving overall company goals.



Specifically, duties include (but are not limited to):


Identifies new business opportunities and strategies.


Develops customer service driven solutions.


Performs analysis to identify productivity issues and to determine solutions on operations issues and manages project plans


Manages solution execution, organizes deployment and/or support actions required in response to business need.


Performs ongoing audits to validate process successes and define requirements for needed enhancement to operations procedures.


Complies with management reporting and communications as requested.


Desires to be in a leadership role


Understands financial statements and P&L analysis


Possess ability to learn each aspect of Dish Network Services business and applicable positions.


Interacts with retailers and sub-contractors to coordinate contract work


Must be available to travel for special projects


Must have and maintain good driving record, Motor Vehicle Record is pulled for this position

Minimum qualifications to be considered are:


Bachelors degree (B.A.) and one year of related experience or two to four years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to respond and interact with all levels of organizational staff. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics. Ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical solutions.

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
