Specifically, this role involves the following:

Creating and analyzing loss forecasts on a quarterly basis

Analyzing sources of variance between forecasts and actual results on an ongoing basis in an effort to continually improve forecast accuracy

Partnering with other analysts to estimate risk of new originations

Strengthening the forecast by finding new and innovative ways to incorporate drivers of loss results into existing forecast frameworks.



Successful execution of these tasks includes the following activities:

Form hypotheses about risk drivers and conduct targeted analyses to prove or disprove hypotheses

Pull and manipulate data using SAS or SQL to conduct analyses

Adjust models to accurately capture the risk and mechanics of the business as demonstrated in data

Deliver clear written and oral communication within team and to partners within the organization
REQUIREMENTS
Required:

BA/BS degree in a quantitative field.

Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Strong organization and multi-tasking ability.

Solid communication and presentation skills.



Preferred:

Experience with SQL and/or SAS.
