BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Job duties:•Take lead in implementing new MS SQL based distribution software.
•Work with data files in areas of converting/mapping and reporting.
•Take lead in developing business processes as it relates to new system, which includes distribution business software, wireless warehouse system, B2B/B2C web interface and 3rd party industry quoting software.
•Assist department managers to re-engineer business processes and use systems to full capabilities.
•Develop documentation for business processes for internal and external use.
•Ability to communicate with employees, vendors and customers on system issues and processes.
•Assist in generation of and training of report generation.
•Maintain and develop internal system training program (Computer Education Program).
•Train users on system processes.
•Maintenance of certain data libraries.
•Maintenance of certain areas of web site.
•Assist with maintenance of user rights and security of new system.
•Troubleshoot system errors.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•Experience with MS SQL mandatory.
•Experience with Crystal Reports preferred.
•Solid business understanding of business processes particularly as it relates to a distribution business.
•Experience developing and documenting business processes.
•Experience with working with SQL data files and report generation.
•College degrees in Information Systems or Business.
•Minimum 3-5 years experience.
•Excellent communication and organizations skills, emphasis on detail.
•Ability to focus on business to make processes in line with business strategy and use new system to increase profitability and make employees more efficient.
•Excellent problem solving skills.
•Above average analytical skills.Reports to Chief Financial Officer
