RequirementsAssistant Product Manager - BioProcess DivisionMillipore is a leader in providing products and services to the biopharmaceutical industry. By 2010, Millipore we intend to be recognized as the leading global bioprocess and bioscience products and services company. We are looking for a highly-motivated and talented Assistant Product Manager to join our BioProcess Product Management and Marketing team. The position is based at our worldwide headquarters in Billerica, Massachusetts in the USA.You will work within our Disposable Manufacturing product area to support the quotation process and product lifecycle activities, with specific responsibility for systems, processes and communications. This includes interfacing with the sales organization, Product Mangement and Design Engineers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Processing of quotations
o Scheduling of drawing process
o Documentation and Product File Management
o Customer Notifications
o New Product Catalogue and Part Number set up
o Maintance of Price ListsQUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Science or Business.
The required skills, knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a minimum of 1-3 years of customer interfacing role.
Strong sense of urgency
Competent analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
Experience with project teams and project management preferred.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to achieve deliverable results.
Familiarity with biotechnology, biological processing and regulatory requirements preferred.
