Role Summary:The Account Executive’s primary focus is to effectively manage existing agency relationships to ensure client retention and successful project execution. You must have prior event planning / project management experience with a Marketing Agency or similar.

Key Accountabilities:Account Planning•Organize and manage communications between project team members and for clients:•Developing and updating status reports
•Creating Final Project Timelines
•Holding Regular Status Meetings Regarding Each Campaign
•Overseeing All of the Various Vendors and Staff Members Involved with Projects
•Being the Client Contact for Projects and Communicating with the Client on a very consistent basis
•Alerting Executive Staff as soon as any problems that appear which may jeopardize or hinder the quality of projects.
•Compiling a Full Final Wrap Up Report on Activities for Each Project
•Creating a Case Study for Each Project
•Record Project Team Hours and Manage Team Tasks
Client Management•Assist in the organization and management of regular communications with client
•Ensure stability of the account by managing existing projects and working with production and creative teams to ensure client needs are met.•Manage Job Flow accountability: oversee budget and budget tracking, Letter of Agreements, Promotional Planning, contracts, timely and accurate billing of client and collection of fees owed.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.•3+ years of account management experience in marketing communications, events or related industry experience•Demonstrated account management competencies: client focus, accountability for results, team effectiveness, developing others, organizational sophistication and influencing others.•Strong project management skills
•Ability to lead teams effectively
•Knowledge of urban youth culture is essential
