Visual Basic Programmer

Job Summary:
- Maintains access databases and excel spreadsheets
- Develop software as specified by Director of MIS
- Maintains computer hardware and network structure

Job Description:

The primary functions of the job are as follows:
- Develop and maintain financial, billing and reporting application interfaces between Excel workbooks and Great Plains applications.
- Support existing MS ACCESS databases.
- Network support
- Reports to Director of MIS

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and meets the following minimum qualifications:

- 2-4 years Experience with all MS Office applications
- 1-3 years experience Visual Basic, VBScript
- Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access
- Must have organizational skills, manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects, while simultaneously meeting deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and work well with corporate leadership
- Must have the ability to manage multiple and competing tasks/priorities.
- Ability to design and implement new user friendly, bug free programs.
- Ability to identify areas where technology can be implemented to improve business processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to travel
- Is familiar with .Net programming
- Is familiar with MS SQL
- Is familiar with Accounting Practices and Procedures
- Citrix experience is a bonus
- Great Plains Dynamics experience is a bonus
