Job DutiesMake sound Underwriting decisions following World?s portfolio and/or secondary market guidelines.Review loan-to-value ratio, credit reports, and applications to ensure that each loan meets Company standards.Provide Loan analysis support for Origination.Review borrower?s income, credit, and assets.Examine overall Loan Documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Maintain Underwriting functions by approving loans and enforcing Underwriting policies and procedures.Develop strong level of cooperation and communication with field employees.Have advanced understanding of World?s standard Loan programs and specialized community Loan programs, to include rate sheets, options, and restructuring and packaging of loans.Perform other Underwriting activities as time permits and as assigned.

Job RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Bachelor?s degree is preferred.1-2 years of customer service experience.1-2 years of Loan Processing experience preferred.Excellent attention to detail required.Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships.Basic understanding of Loan programs to include rate sheets, options, and restructuring and packaging of loans.Understanding of Underwriting guidelines.Decision-making experience involving numerous objectives and risk situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
