Ernst & Young, a world-leading professional services firm, is currently seeking data analysis professionals for our rapidly expanding Technology & Security Risk Services (TSRS) practice. Based in Cleveland, you will join our International Shared Analysis Center (ISAC) where we focus on solving complex client business problems involving the acquisition, validation and analysis of data in electronic form. As part of the analysis center, you will team with data analysis professionals and industry subject matter experts throughout our Area practices to develop a wide range of custom data analysis applications, including computer assisted audit tools, package solutions and sophisticated custom analysis tools. You will also play a role in shaping the operating methodologies and development standards for use by the analysis center. Furthermore, you can expect opportunity to work with clients in a broad range of industry and business environments. Responsibilities Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. Work with the clients to document the business processes dependent on information technology. Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance. Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and operations. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations. Demonstrate and apply strong application development and project management skills. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or management information systems minimum of 3 years experience as an application/database developer working with the Microsoft tool set (SQL Server, VB/.net, MS Access) strong communication and analytical skills advanced project management and client service skills initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision excellent leadership and teaming skills demonstrated integrity within a professional environment the successful candidate will hold or should be pursuing Microsoft certification (MCDBA, MCAD)
