Team Leader - Risk Portfolio Operations
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Corporate Financial ServicesFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: Within Loan Servicing Unit:Serve as lead technical expert, teaching and coaching employees. Coach employees on how to identify odd-looking situations or events. Own/drive data integrity and completeness and ensure system reflects transactional history.Troubleshoot highly complex, unusual or problematic situations encountered by the business segments or team members, focusing on account management satisfaction, customer satisfaction and effective communication.Promote employee understanding and usage of company and operational policies, procedures, reports and metrics.Serve key role in organizational project teams to drive operations process improvement initiatives.Create/update operational training tools for operations and the business.Minimize organizational risk by leveraging operational controls, identifying suspicious/inconsistent activity, notifying appropriate parties and taking appropriate action.Keep knowledge current on portfolios, loan accounting, regulatory changes, operational policies, procedures, system and controls.Contribute feedback to Ops Manager relating to team members technical development and workload.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics and at least 3 years of Commercial Loan Operations, Accounting or other operational experience in Commercial Lending environment (or High School diploma/GED and 5 years of Commercial Loan Operations related experience).High degree of expertise in Commercial Lending from an operational perspective.Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret Credit Agreements and translate content into system parameters (for Team Leads in Credit Admin Unit).Prior experience applying general accounting principles.Experience using ACBS related loan servicing or GL software.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
