Tax Director

The position is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan for Tax Services. This includes, but is not limited to, driving development of the tax solution area with the goal of significant growth and profitability; providing technical expertise; and maintaining and leveraging a network of clients and contacts. Responsibilities include: Serve as business advisor; Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements; Create work plans to support fee estimates, assign resources, and oversee successful delivery of services.


BS/BA in taxation or related area; Minimum 12 years or more of clearly progressive, professional development in the general area of taxes; Broad understanding of tax technical areas with a strong preference for federal, international, and state and local consulting and compliance together with a strong familiarity of FAS 109; Demonstrated ability to successfully sell and cross market various firm services; Flexibility to participate in marketing and delivering engagements outside of the immediate area for reasonable periods of time; Entrepreneurial attitude and thinking skills; CPA and MST preferred.
