You will be responsible for development and support of our client's Trading and Middle Office environment. Also, you will interface with Traders, Portfolio Managers, Business Operations, Technologist, and Vendors on a daily basis. Some of your duties / responsibilities follow:

You should have prior Order Management Systems (OMS) and Financial industry experience

You must have strong Sybase and SQL skills - Oracle is a plus

Prior experience with development (using best practices), troubleshooting, data modeling, and performance tuning

Understanding of business concepts and buy-side workflows is a plusRequired Experience
IT Experience

5-10 years of overall IT experience

5 years of development experience

5 years of Sybase/SQL/Oracle

Perl

Windows 2k core competency

Unix OS familiarity

Microsoft Access

Visual Basic

C# (or VB.net)

Proficient in MS Office applications and Visio
Business Experience

2 Years of OMS Experience

Understanding of Front, Back, and Middle offices for a buy side firm

Understanding of Trade Life Cycle from Order Entry to Settlement

Fundamental understanding of all the Data (SMF, Exchange Rates, Ratings, Etc.)

Knowledge of the OMS space and industry

Charles River Development (CR-IMS), Macgregor (XIP), or other OMS experience

OASYS/TradeSuite experience
