Supervising Senior Auditor

Will assist in the development and implementation of the internal audit program designed to independently evaluate and assess the adequacy of internal controls from a risked based perspective. This includes performing financial, compliance and operational process audits of WesCorp and its subsidiaries, with assigned internal audit staff. Performing internal audits includes: identify business risks and exposures, recommend creative solutions that reduce risk, enhance quality and accuracy of data integrity, determine compliance with corporate policy, rules and regulations. Assist with daily supervision and act as lead in the absence of the director.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in performing financial and process audits, with working knowledge of accounting principles. Requires a minimum of five plus years internaal audit experience,with appropriate education, in the financial services industry. Exhibit working knowledge of financial, operational and management practices and auditing techniques, along with the ability to exercise sound audit judgement. CIA or CPA required.
