Statistical Analyst

We are currently seeking a results-oriented Statistical Analyst for our Product Management Department.

Recent successes include the successful implementation of a new policy management system common to all products. This has lead to the development of an agency interface tool known as e-Quip'd®, which uses rules based underwriting to enable agents to enter business in their office and actually print the policy in their office while the customer is present. e-Quip'd® has been recognized by the CSC customer community leading to being awarded the Innovation Award from that group. This investment in enhanced systems technology has streamlined back-office operations, as well as company to agency communications and data interface.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will prepare and publish routine and custom statistical, financial, and managerial reports. Service and support will be provided to all divisions including product development, bureau reporting, rate making and reinsurance.
QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree or post high school classes in statistics, mathematics, economics and/or accounting, advanced skills and abilities with spreadsheet software, strong communication and mathematical skills, working knowledge of QMF for Windows, Business Objects and Word. Preferred candidate will have at least 1 year related practical experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry and possess a Certificate in General Insurance designation.
