State & Local Tax Accountant

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $40,000 to $50,000 per year A premier design, engineering and construction firm that is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, has a need for a State & Local Tax Accountant.
Position requirements include the following:
Responsible for preparing state and local sales and use, gross receipts, local excise, personal property, franchise tax, annual reports and business licenses applications.Assembles, compiles, and analyzes financial data from other departments/corporate books for use in tax return preparation.Have responsibility for account reconciliations.Prepares monthly accounting entries and performs detailed monthly and quarterly analysis for all tax accruals.Prepares monthly tax payment schedules.Supports research, planning and technical tax issues analysis for all state and local.Assists in multi-state tax audits for all types of taxes.Founded in 1948, Robert Half Finance & Accounting pioneered financial recruitment and today is the worldwide leader in the field.
