Staff Internal Auditor

Our National Office in Downtown Chicago seeks a Staff Auditor to provide assistance to the Director, Internal Audit in developing and managing the initial stages of the auditing function. One to two years experience in auditing, accounting, strategic business analysis and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with CIA, CPA, CISA certification preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Assist with the collection and analysis of data to detect deficient controls, fraud or non-compliance with laws, regulations and management policies. • Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence and documenting work processes and procedures. • Prepare and organize detailed work papers utilizing specialized software. • Assist with documentation of audit findings; process improvement recommendations and preparation of audit and compliance reports. • Provide general staff support to the Director, Internal Audit
REQUIREMENTS
BA; in accounting or finance preferred 1-2 years experience in auditing, accounting, strategic business analysis Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Certification as a CIA, CPA, CISA preferred
