Job Summary:
This position is responsible for working closely with the financial planning and analysis team to develop and improve business processes using the Hyperion suite of products. Additional responsibilities include maintaining production applications associated with Hyperion, budgeting and forecasting, associated variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Job Functions:
1. Acting as the Hyperion super-user and subject matter expert, implements and trains business users on the system to be used in the company's budgeting and forecasting process. Utilizes Hyperion to develop an automated, rolling forecast.
2. Spearheads the creation of new Hyperion reports for planning, forecasting and analysis, focusing on trends to help drive business decisions.
3. Assist key stakeholders by defining necessary business requirements to design appropriate tools for the measuring of key financial performance metrics.
4. Acts as the business/technical contact for Hyperion related issues.
5. Provides financial analysis to multiple cost center managers in the FHEG division and the corporate office.
6. Acts as a liaison between Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team, as well as with a Hyperion on-site consultant and internal managers and key stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
1.Bachelor of Science degree in finance or accounting required. An MBA or CPA is a plus
2.5+ years of demonstrated experience in implementing Hyperion, acting as the financial system implementer and administrator, as well as in creating financial reports relevant and timely to the business.
3.Three + years of responsibility for budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting
4.Experience as a functional project leader in a Hyperion full life cycle project development; to include gathering business requirements, designing the flow of the modules, working with IT on development and testing, and eventual implementation and training to business partners.
5.Keen understanding of Hyperion reports
6.Must be able to fully comprehend and explain the numbers behind the reported financial information to key stakeholders.
