Sr. Financial Analyst -- Previous healthcare experience required

MacNeal Hospital is a 427-bed fully accredited teaching hospital located in near west suburban Berwyn, Illinois. Our services include primary care centers, homecare/hospice, behavioral health, PET-scan, cardiac caths, open-heart surgeries, etc. Nearly 90% of our 400 physicians are board-certified.
REQUIREMENTS
Our Finance Department has an immediate opening for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team of professionals.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, collects and prepares cost data, analyzes fiscal accounting and related systems, regulatory submissions, fiscal presentations for budget and reimbursement and financial feasibility studies, as directed.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

1. Analyze & interpret data;
2. Maintain accuracy & consistency;
3. Compile complex reports & develop presentations;
4. Ability to apply professionally appropriate creativity and magination in developing financial models;
5. Communicate effectively;
6. Ability to educate and mentor staff at all levels;
7. Direct work flow among different teams of financial support personnel;
8. Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Access; MS4, Avega and Hyperion.

KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE/REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

1. Level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of Bachelors degree in quanititative business discipline such as accounting, finance or economics.

2. Preferred Education/Certifications: B/Ba.

3. 3-5 years of previous relevant healthcare job related experience.

4. Moderate to extensive financial analysis experience desire.
