Financial Services

Leads complex / major efforts regarding the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and / or application components.Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutionsRecommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards.Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area.Resolves complex application and technical problems.May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software
and/or application components.Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies.Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.Leads evaluations of systems / applications software technologies.May lead project teams.Strong ability to work collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.Performs softward architecture and systems design.

REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Minimum 5 years of experience developing solutions for the Web

Experience with BEA Portal Server and BEA related products a plus

Working knowledge with MDA (Model Driven Architecture) a plus

Expert level J2EE skills. Java Architecture Certification desired.

Advanced knowledge of OOAD

Advanced UML skills and usage of physical modeling tools

Intermediate Oracle skills
