Our Health Industries Advisory Practice (HIA) assists hospitals and health systems with quantitative analysis to support management decision-making around a variety of financial and operational issues. Resources within the group focus on strategic financial planning, turnaround analysis, prospective financial information, third-party reimbursement, financial assessment for operations improvement, including staffing and non-staffing benchmarking, programmatic financial planning, and support for strategic pricing analysis.

Bachelors degree required, MPH, MHA or MB.A. preferred, CPA PlusEssential Requirements:
We seek candidates with 4+ years of reimbursement experience in the Provider health care sector or CPA firm consulting environment, to work with our HIA Directors, Managers, Senior Associates and Associates in the Birmingham office.Candidates should posses the following skills:
Expertise in manipulating complex spreadsheets and managing databases, including an excellent understanding of MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Access Strong background with data analysis Accounting and/or Finance background preferred A general understanding of the health care industry Strong verbal and business writing skills Internet and research skills Experience with oral and written presentations Proven track record of integrating into a team environment A strong understanding of the Medicare and Medicaid regulations and dealing with Medicare intermediaries Experience in preparing Medicare cost reports Experience with the calculation of Medicare and Medicaid accounts receivable contractual reserves
