Review and analyze monthly financial data in GFS
Proactively pursues and initiates opportunities to improve the current reporting tools utilized in GFS to determine foreign source revenues and costs
Interact directly with the International Accounting and Tax Group
Work directly with managers to resolve issues, accurately answer inquiries and proactively report potential issues that may impact foreign source revenues/income and VAT filings
Possess or quickly gain a comprehensive knowledge of all of the Firm’s main functional systems
Reconcile certain inter-company customer and vendor reports on a daily basis
Respond to requests from the partnership tax department for assistance in preparing financial statements for the foreign income tax and VAT filings
Pro-actively participate with other finance staff to improve processes and further strengthen internal controls
Build/strengthen customer/client/peer relationships internal and external to Finance
Participate and complete special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years related experience preferred (prior public accounting experience a plus)Essential Requirements:
