Senior Technology Financial Planner

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND
DUTIES:

Essential Functions
Monitor and analyze trends in key business
drivers and financial results.
Act as a liaison between Business Technology, Financial and VP Areas.
Assist in the Annual Plan process by providing tools to Management and assist in developing their annual budget.
Prepare and distribute the monthly financial reports and reconciliation and variance explanation. This may include executing queries from multiple financial systems including Accounts Payable, pulling vouchers, and working with Forecasting and Accounting tools.
Assist in the annual budget, headcount
projections, and Quarterly forecasts.
Conduct cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects assigned.
Perform detailed financial analysis (e.g., ratios, trends, and variances, cost per unit, etc.).
Coordinate planning process for VP Area
Maintain records of actual Capital and
Operating Expense for comparison with estimated budget.
Review of the expected month-end P&L for Vice
President area.
Assist in the month-end closing by providing input and/or data to support entries and accruals.
Ensure the data integrity of the P&L line items by understanding what is being posted to the related G/L.

This is a temporary to hire opportunity. They are looking to have the position start as soon as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Operations Research, Accounting, or Finance. A minimum of at least 6- 9 years experience in accounting and/or financial analysis will be preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Hyperion products, GEAC and Accounts Payable a plus. Requires knowledge of financial policies, procedures and practices. Knowledge of budget administration, Business Technology projects and financial requirements. Requires organizational skills, strong conceptual and analytical abilities. Requires interpersonal communication skills, skill in written and oral communications, and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management. Ability to work independently. Supervisory skills a plus. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
