Senior Risk Manager

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: Risk ManagementResponsibilities: *Work with cross functional teams (BD, Sales, Finance, Legal, etc) in various phases of to winning new deals. This entails client underwriting, deal pricing/structuring, credit approval, contract negotiation.
Responsible for continuous monitoring of existing portfolios: work with appropriate teams to administer the contracts effectively and detect early signs of credit deterioration and develop risk mitigation strategy, negotiate amendments when needed
Review deals and communicate risks/mitigants with senior leadership including CRO, CEO
Manage and develop risk manager(s) in the areas of underwriting competencies, legal negotiations and new product knowledge~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelors Degree in finance or related field
5+ years of Underwriting or relevant experience with Consumer/Commercial Finance
Excellent organizational, presentation, communication and influencing skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects, ability to build trusting work relationships with cross-functional team while maintaining independence
Strong analytical ability - financial statement analysis / deal pricing modeling /contingent liability and liquidation analysis
Strong contract negotiation skillsDesired: *8+ years of Underwriting or relevant experience with Consumer/Commercial Finance
MBA in Finance/Accounting
