Senior Financial Reporting Analyst - SEC Reporting

Our client is a large Manufacturer and a leader in their industry. They are seeking a Senior SEC reporting Analyst to join there Headquarters in the Chicago area.



The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.), researching and resolving accounting issues, reviewing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial reports from global sites, updating corporate accounting policies and implementing new accounting standards This position will also be responsible for drafting SEC filings and prepare supporting schedules for certain disclosures. Month-end and quarter-end work will also include analyzing financial results for global sites and corresponding with the accountants at the various sites to answer questions. The position will also work with various finance functions to research and resolve day-to-day accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAPAccounting policy updates and the implementation of new accounting standards are performed throughout the year, as required

REQUIREMENTS


Qualification Include

Bachelor’s Degree and CPA required

3 – 5 years of solid US GAAP accounting and SEC reporting experience, public accounting background preferred

Experience/knowledge of Hyperion and/or SAP systems would be beneficial
