Senior Clinical Research Associate-Pharmaceutical

Description: The Senior Clinical Research Associate is responsible for the independent implementation and management of clinical research projects for a multi-national specialty pharmaceutical company.

Responsibilities include:
-Organizing and managing clinical research projects independently.
- Assuring adherence to the protocol, standard operating procedures (SOP's), ICH GCP and case report form (CRF) guidelines, and Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
-Mentoring and training Clinical Research Associates on monitoring procedures including Study Qualification, Initiation, Interim Monitoring, and Close-Out visits.
- Facilitating and monitoring adverse event reporting.
-Coordinating contracts, budgets, and grants management at a project and site level.
-Proactively identifying and facilitating changes for continuous process improvements within the clinical department.

Requirements

-Working knowledge of FDA/ICH GCPs, and a comprehensive understanding of the drug development process.
-Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
-Bachelors degree in scientific discipline, RN or BSN degree or 4-year Life Science Degree.
-5 years pharmaceutical research-minimum 3 years of clinical trial field monitoring experience
