Senior Clinical Research Associate

Purpose: A Worldwide Clinical Research Organization has immediate Regional home based Senior CRA openings in the state of North Carolina (NC) with the following experience and expertise required.

Candidates considered should have any of the following Therapeutic area experience:

CNS, Cardio, Respiratory, Oncology, Pain, Arthritis

Monitoring Responsibilities will include:

-Preparing and distributing case report forms (CRF's), study reference manuals, and monitoring guidelines/manuals.
-Participating in investigator meetings.
-Site selection, initiation, interim and closeout.
-Managing Institutional Review Board (IRB) and informed consent issues as well as participating in investigator recruitment and site selection visits.
-Collecting and verifying essential regulatory documents, and site personnel training.
-Conducting periodic monitoring activities with the investigative sites, including reviewing case report forms (CRF's).
-Conducting in-house monitoring of adverse experiences and other functions required for managing clinical trial conduct.
-Reviewing CRF's received in-house and performing data clarification functions.
-Conducting study closeout activities.
-Actively communicating with clinical team members, including participation in team meetings and updates.

The Qualified Candidate Will Possess:

-1-2 yrs+ of on-site clinical trial monitoring
--1-2 yrs+ or designated Therapeutic background
--Bachelor'S or higher degree mandatory in Life or Health Science (RN or medical background is a plus)
--SOP's, FDA, and GCP regulations and practices
--Strong working knowledge of guidelines, and systems for clinical trial management
--Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
--Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Travel: 50%-70%
